31 Days of Evening Prayers

Day 1
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I offer You this day now past—
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Mt 11:28)
Thank You for blessing and guiding me through this day.
I believe You are with me; Holy Spirit, bring me peace.
I hope in Your mercy; guard me from all harm tonight.
Fill me with love for You and grant me a forgiving heart toward others.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Day 2
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I rest in You as night draws near—
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Ps 27:1)
Thank You for Your protection and grace today.
I believe You are my refuge; Holy Spirit, calm my thoughts.
I hope in Your promises; keep me safe from all temptation.
Fill me with love for You and patience toward all I meet.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;

Day 3
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I entrust to You all my cares—
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” (Ps 4:8)
Thank You for the strength to complete this day’s work.
I believe You are near; Holy Spirit, renew my mind.
I hope in Your grace; protect me from the snares of the enemy.
Fill me with love for You and compassion for the suffering.

Day 4
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I turn to You at day’s end—
“The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” (Ps 121:8)
Thank You for guiding my steps and answering my prayers.
I believe You are my shield; Holy Spirit, strengthen my trust.
I hope in Your salvation; grant me peaceful rest.
Fill me with love for You and humility in all I do.

Day 5
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I close this day in Your care—
“Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.” (1 Pt 5:7)
Thank You for carrying me through trials and joys alike.
I believe You are my comfort; Holy Spirit, grant me rest in You.
I hope in Your love; shield me from every evil.
Fill me with love for You and a spirit of gratitude.

Day 6
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I rest in Your mercy tonight—
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him.” (Nah 1:7)
Thank You for guiding my decisions and calming my heart.
I believe You are my refuge; Holy Spirit, dwell within me.
I hope in Your faithfulness; keep me steadfast in Your ways.
Fill me with love for You and gentleness toward others.

Day 7
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I end this day in Your peace—
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” (Is 26:3)
Thank You for every sign of Your care today.
I believe You are my strength; Holy Spirit, steady my soul.
I hope in Your promises; surround me with Your light.
Fill me with love for You and sincerity in all I do.

Day 8
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I place this day into Your hands—
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Ps 23:1)
Thank You for leading me in paths of righteousness.
I believe You are my guide; Holy Spirit, keep me close to You.
I hope in Your mercy; guard me from all sin.
Fill me with love for You and peace toward my neighbor.

Day 9
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I give You praise as the day closes—
“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever.” (Ps 107:1)
Thank You for every gift and for forgiving my faults.
You are compassionate; Holy Spirit, help me forgive others.
I hope in Your love; let my rest be in You alone.
Fill me with love for You and joy in Your presence.

Lord, I find shelter in You tonight—
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.” (Ps 18:2)
Thank You for guarding me from harm today.
I believe You are my protector; Holy Spirit, calm my fears.
I hope in Your truth; keep me from every falsehood.
Fill me with love for You and compassion for the weak.

Day 11
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I trust You with my whole heart—
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Prv 3:5)
Thank You for guiding my steps today.
I believe You are my wisdom; Holy Spirit, direct my thoughts.
I hope in Your guidance; lead me on the straight path.
Fill me with love for You and patience with all people.

Day 12

Lord, I lay down my burdens before You—

I believe You are my comfort; Holy Spirit, ease my worries.
I hope in Your care; keep my heart at rest in You.
Fill me with love for You and encouragement for the weary.

Lord, I praise You for Your faithfulness—

Thank You for Your constant mercy.
I believe You are unchanging; Holy Spirit, keep me steadfast.
I hope in Your love; renew me in Your grace.
Fill me with love for You and kindness toward all.

I believe You are faithful; Holy Spirit, strengthen my trust.
I hope in Your plan; keep me from despair.
Fill me with love for You and gratitude for Your gifts.

Lord, I thank You for the gift of this day—

Thank You for every blessing, seen and unseen.
I believe You are my joy; Holy Spirit, fill me with gladness.
I hope in Your salvation; keep me in Your light.
Fill me with love for You and gentleness with others.

I believe You are my hope; Holy Spirit, keep me courageous.
I hope in Your power; guard me through the night.
Fill me with love for You and a forgiving heart.

I hope in Your generosity; help me share freely.

I believe You are my healer; Holy Spirit, make me whole.
I hope in Your grace; renew my heart in love.
Fill me with love for You and mercy toward all.

I believe You are my redeemer; Holy Spirit, keep me pure.
I hope in Your forgiveness; help me to forgive others.
Fill me with love for You and zeal for holiness.

I believe You are my friend; Holy Spirit, draw me close.
I hope in Your presence; keep me in communion with You.
Fill me with love for You and kindness toward the lonely.
